Perspective Plan and Deployment

PERSPECTIVE PLANS FOR INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT (2016-17 to 2020-2021)

The Governing Council has prepared a Perspective Plan for the period of Five years commencing form academic year 2016-17 to academic year 2020-2021 by taking into consideration the quality indicators of seven criterions determined by NAAC. Inputs from all stakeholders, their expectations, management policies and goals and objectives of the college are considered as a base for formulation of the perspective plan.

Augmentation of Infrastructure and Learning Resources

Research, Consultancy and Extension

·         Preparation of proposal for minor and major research projects

·         Developing academic infrastructure such as instruments, laboratories, ICT facility, Library, INFLIBNET, and other requirements as per needs for carrying out research activity

·         Ph.D degree programmes by establishing research Centre in different departments

·         To subscribe for more number of research journals in order to support research activity

·         To provide provision in the budget for funding research

·         To have more MoU with more organizations/professional institutes in India/foreign universities

 

Student Support and Progression

·         Establish digital library and subscription to e-books and e- journals

·         Organizing high profiled completions or fests

·         Sport shoes, kits and other essential articles will be provided to the students which will involve in sports activities

·         Special coaches shall be invited for different games to train the students and promote the sports.

·         Professionals from cultural field like directors, musicians and artistes will be invited to guide the students for promotion of cultural activities.

·         Organize workshops on dance, music, theatre, fine art and literary, every year.

·         Organizing skill based workshops

·         Organizing study tours/industry visit/field visit

·         Organizing awareness programmes

·         Coaching for competitive exams, remedial coaching, bridge courses, subject quiz

·         Organizing science exhibitions organizing science model competitions.

·         Student counseling.

·         Library and reading room facilities will be extended to the alumni.

·         Career guidance and placement services will be provided to the alumni.

·         College ground and gymnasium facilities will be provided for physical fitness of alumni.

·         Inviting alumni for social, cultural and academic programmes of the college.

 

The draft of Perspective Plan has been discussed, reviewed and approved in the Governing Council meeting.
