St Philomena College was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

Museum

Fr Patrao Memorial Museum

In the memory of the founder, our College has established a historical museum in the name of   Fr Antony Patrao. This museum established for the purpose of Conservation and protection of historical object as well as to promote our cultural heritage. Here we are presenting the objects and materials of cultural, religious & Historical importance. At present our museum contains more than 160 + objects. These materials were collected by the students, faculty members and well wishers of the institution.
