I deem it most honoured and proud to say that I am an alumnus of the prestigious St. Philomena College, Puttur. The College NSS unit provided me the platform for my personality development and future career. The ambience of the campus is very positive and the staff was highly motivative and supportive.

St Philomena college is an integral part of my life. If I am a successful professionally now, it's largely credited to my college. The college gave me an immense opportunity to perform in all areas of my interest.

I am Proud to say that i am teh alumnus of great institutiton, i was an NSS volunteer and i had participated in NSS Camps which molded me as an active and disciplined student.Then professors were stalwarts and and i was most inspired by most of them both academically and personally.

SPC Puttur nurtured rural and economically deprived students with great care to excel themselves with lot of skills and values for life. It not only built strong academic base to the students, but also supported through co-curricular activities like Sports, NSS and NCC to build their career. I remember my committed band of teachers with reverence.

St Philomena college is my second home. The campus is filled with positive energy. The years I spent there have been full of learning opportunities filled with fun. Faculty members are supportive. They encourage us to actively participate in both curricular and extra curricular activities

I had an opportunity to study and interact with great Principals like late Rev. Fr. Serrao, late Rev. Fr. Castelino & Rev. Fr. J B D’Souza, who were the architects of every student to design their life, which was the foundation stone in my bright future. For me Fr. Castelino was very much instrumental to write KAS exam as well as helping me by giving books from the college library to prepare for the exam.

Looking back, I see that I got a firm grounding in science and mathematics at St. Philomena's which helped set the foundation for my engineering career. The well-equipped laboratories provided hands-on practical experience of the theoretical subjects I was studying.The library provided me opportunities to explore English literature

I feel proud whenever I pass through the road and see the college and its expanding campus. St Philomena college was the only degree college of the Taluk at that time and entering college campus itself was a great privilege and studying was a perennial blessing.==

College is the perfect place to discover hidden talents. We have supportive faculty members, who helps us in our difficult times also. Apart from studies, the extra- curriculum activities what they have conducted helped me a lot to build my career.

St Philomena College is an institution which has given a new direction for my academic career. The College provides education to all sections of society without seeing the cast and religion, which I do feel hallmark of the College. We have received excellent education and guidance from Professors which actually formed us to reach the present level.
