Overall experience in St Philomena College is amazing because we are provided many opportunities to grow and explore our skills on sports/ other cultural activities along with education. I always found healthy and friendly environment where teachers are highly supportive.

St Philomena College is one of the most important and memorable place in my life which gave lots of opportunities to explore myself. IT department fests, Sports and other extra circular actives gave us excellent opportunities to show off our skills and learn new things. Thank you so much to my IT department, the college administration, and my beloved pals from Philomena for helping me to build great future. I'll always be really proud to identify as a Philosian.

ಎಂಭತ್ತರ ದಶಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಸಂತ ಫಿಲೋಮಿನಾ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ. ಪದವಿ ತರಗತಿಗೆ ಸೇರುವಾಗಲೇ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಪ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಅಭಿರುಚಿ ನನಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದು ಬೆಳೆಯಲು ಬೇಕಾದ ಪೂರಕ ವಾತಾವರಣವು ನನಗಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭಿಸಿತು. ಆಗ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಫಾ.ಹೆನ್ರಿ ಕ್ಯಾಸ್ಟಲಿನೊ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತರನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಬೇಗ ಗುರುತಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ನಾನು ಬರೆದ ವರ್ಣ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು, ಲೇಖನ - ಕವನಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕೈಗೇ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ; ತಕ್ಷಣ ಅದು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಗೋಡೆ ಫಲಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

St Philomena college is my second home. The campus is filled with positive energy. The years I spent there have been full of learning opportunities filled with fun. Faculty members are supportive. They encourage us to actively participate in both curricular and extra curricular activities

I had an opportunity to study and interact with great Principals like late Rev. Fr. Serrao, late Rev. Fr. Castelino & Rev. Fr. J B D’Souza, who were the architects of every student to design their life, which was the foundation stone in my bright future. For me Fr. Castelino was very much instrumental to write KAS exam as well as helping me by giving books from the college library to prepare for the exam.

I deem it most honoured and proud to say that I am an alumnus of the prestigious St. Philomena College, Puttur. The College NSS unit provided me the platform for my personality development and future career. The ambience of the campus is very positive and the staff was highly motivative and supportive.

I am Proud to say that i am teh alumnus of great institutiton, i was an NSS volunteer and i had participated in NSS Camps which molded me as an active and disciplined student.Then professors were stalwarts and and i was most inspired by most of them both academically and personally.

Getting admission in SPC was one of the best things that happened in my life. Faculty here is just amazing. They don’t just teach the book stuff but will also give you guidance on how you can bring a change in the society.I express my heartfelt thanks to the institution for giving me the perfect opportunity to explore myself. I am grateful to be part of such an institution.

ಸಂತ ಫಿಲೋಮಿನಾ ಕಾಲೇಜು ನನ್ನ ಬದುಕಿಗೊಂದು ಹೊಸ ಆಯಾಮವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ. ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ಕಲಿತದ್ದು ಶಿಸ್ತು, ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು. ನಾನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ನೀಡಿದ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಾಕಿದ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಪರಿಸರ ನನ್ನಂಥ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂಲ ಕಾರಣವಾಯಿತು. ಸಂತ ಫಿಲೋಮಿನಾ ಕಾಲೇಜು ನನಗೆ ಯಾವತ್ತಿಗೂ ಒಂದು ಆದರ್ಶ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾದರಿ.

St. Philomena is known for Its diversified campus life with resourceful teaching and learning skills. Besides infrastructure, college is valued for its academic rigour, in particular the delivery of student-centric and research-oriented content. I am really proud and happy to be a part of Philo's Family.
