Overall experience in St Philomena College is amazing because we are provided many opportunities to grow and explore our skills on sports/ other cultural activities along with education. I always found healthy and friendly environment where teachers are highly supportive.

I feel proud whenever I pass through the road and see the college and its expanding campus. St Philomena college was the only degree college of the Taluk at that time and entering college campus itself was a great privilege and studying was a perennial blessing.==

I deem it most honoured and proud to say that I am an alumnus of the prestigious St. Philomena College, Puttur. The College NSS unit provided me the platform for my personality development and future career. The ambience of the campus is very positive and the staff was highly motivative and supportive.

Looking back, I see that I got a firm grounding in science and mathematics at St. Philomena's which helped set the foundation for my engineering career. The well-equipped laboratories provided hands-on practical experience of the theoretical subjects I was studying.The library provided me opportunities to explore English literature

Getting admission in SPC was one of the best things that happened in my life. Faculty here is just amazing. They don’t just teach the book stuff but will also give you guidance on how you can bring a change in the society.I express my heartfelt thanks to the institution for giving me the perfect opportunity to explore myself. I studied in St. Philomena College, Puttur and got my B.Sc. degree in 1991. It was a golden period in my life. Most of the students in those days were first generation learners from remote villages of Puttur and Sullia taluks. We had very good teachers who were also great motivators. The teachers, the library and the learning environment made us what we are today. I am grateful to my college.

I am always thankful to the faculty members of the St. Philomena's for their continuous efforts and support during my course. The curriculum, the teaching methodology adopted by our faculty and the extracurricular activities were the turning point of my life which made me the person who I am today. The teachers were like a backbone for a person like me who didn't had any background of computer science when I joined the course. And notably all my batch mates are doing well in their respective jobs which reflect the quality of the students the institute has produced.

SPC is one of the most reputed instirutions in D.K. district. The college excellent in terms of facult members and infrastrucure ( the sports facilities, labs, library etc). The focus here is to ensure alround development of students. I was amazed to see their focus on latest trends and technologies.

If I turn pages of my memories, I can vividly remember my days in the college. The conducive ambience of the college inspired me to be a book lover. How could I forget to thank my teachers and the librarian who genuinely motivated me to learn and opened my eyes to see the world through books?

I had a lovely time at St. Philomena College as a student. We had a wonderful group of Lectures. I would like to take this time to thank the college and professors for making me who I am today. I also want to point out that this college instils in its students a strong sense of self-control and discipline. Best wishes to all incoming college students.
