St Philomena College was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

PROGRAM BRIEF

BBA is a three-year/four-year professional undergraduate program in Business Management. It is one of the most sought-after bachelor's degree programs pursued by students after Class 12, open to students from all the three streams of science, arts, and commerce. To prepare students for managerial positions and entrepreneurship, the program provides knowledge and training in management and leadership abilities. Also, it enables students to think more clearly and critically concerning the numerous stages and methods used in business operations. The BBA is the gateway to a plethora of job opportunities in numerous sectors such as Sales, Marketing, Education, Finance, and Government to name a few. The BBA degree is in high demand among students as it equips them with the in-depth knowledge of management abilities necessary to successfully run a business or organization.  The program will help the students learn various aspects of business administration and management through classroom lectures and practical projects like internships. Additionally, the program offers students the opportunity to choose electives and interdisciplinary courses that will assist them in further expanding students’ knowledge perspective.

Eligibility

  • A candidate who has passed two years of Pre-University Examination in any stream conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in the State of Karnataka or any other examination considered equivalent thereto shall be eligible for admission to the BBA program.
