Department of Hindi

The department of Hindi came into existence from the inception of the college in June 1958. Simple beautiful and flowery language Hindi is considered as the national language of India. Even electronic media made this language more popular among the students.

Vision:

    Department of Hindi is committed to develop on academic environment oriented towards rational thinking, moral values and composite culture in terms of Hindi language and literature. It envisions to inspire and prepare a generation of youth to use their natural talent and to inculcate a sense of integrity, humanity and civic sensibility among them, through awareness towards study of literature as an art form and to create resourceful students, who can contribute in the sustainable developments of Hindi in Indian society. 

Mission:

  •     Develop excellent human resources of versatile personality.

  •     Aims to inspire its students to develop language skills.

  •   It encourages and promotes interest in appreciating literature, developing aesthetic sensibility

    and nurturing all forms of creativity inherent in students.

  •     To grow an atmosphere where the traditions are blended with modern outlook.

Objectives:

  •     The main objective of incorporating Hindi as a subject in the degree course is to create an interest among the students in the language and literature and also to master the art of communication.

  •       The main aim is to provide general understanding of Hindi language for the administrative requirements of official language policy of the government of India.

  •        To create the way for enrichment of Hindi literature.
