St Philomena College(Autonomous) was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

Campus Recruitment

                 On 03/03/2022 in our college Seminar hall Commerce Department had conducted Campus Recruitment programme. Mahindra Karnataka Agencies visited the college for selecting the personnel for their organization. Mr. Ganesh Thadathil, Branch Manager and Mr. Preetham Kumar, head of the H.R department, Mahindra head office Mangalore were the main guest.

                Ms. Pruthvi. K  Lecturer of Commerce welcomed the gathering. Mr. Yashwanth G Nayak and Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta florally welcomed the guests. Programme had started at 10.30 AM and the guests addressed the gathering. While addressing they mentioned nowadays people hesitate to join Marketing sector for various reasons, but there is also wide scope in that sector.      

                Finally they conducted the interview of students who desire to join their organization.
