About Us

St Philomena College(Autonomous) was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

Facula - Srusti 2K16, Mgmt Fest

The department of business administration and management Association of St Philomena College here organized an intra-department Management Fest ‘Facula  – Srusti 2K16’ at College auditorium here on Saturday August 6.

The principal Professor Leo Noronha in his inaugural address said, ‘In today’s globalised world, Business Administration Course has become highly attractive. The students who pursue this course have a wide range of skills that allow them to work in various areas.’

The head of the department Radhakrishna Gowda delivered introductory speech. The faculty member of the department Prashanth Rai was present on this occasion.

Janani and group rendered the prayer. The president of Management Association Zainuddin welcomed the gathering. Mohammad Shafi proposed the vote of thanks. Rameez compered the programme.
