St Philomena College was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

FDP on STUDENT MENTORING AND EMOTIONAL INELLIGENCE

Student Mentoring Committee and IQAC of the College jointly organized a three day FDP on STUDENT MENTORING AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE from 05/02/2022 to  08/02/2022 at P G Seminar Hall. The program was inaugurated by the Principal of the College Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro. The first session on STUDENT MENTORING was conducted by Dr Malini K ,Convener, Student Mentoring Committee. The second session on which was on EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE was conducted by Mr Edwin S D Souza , Member, Student Mentoring Committee.
