St Philomena College was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

Training Program on Advanced Excel For Data Management.

A  Three Day Training Program on Advanced Excel For Data Management  was held for the Non Teaching faculty from14-02-2022 to 16-02-2022 at PG Seminar Hall of the College. Mrs Geethapoornima , Mrs Sowmya, Mrs Varija M, Mr Vinayachandra and Mrs Rajeshwari M Asst Professors. in Dept. of Computer Science were participated as the Resource person and gave an insight into  the Advanced Excel for Data Management such as Storing data in excel sheets ,arranging Data ,cleansing Data, plotting graphs, and applying queries etc.
