St Philomena College(Autonomous) was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

Training Program on ERP Solutions

A training program on ERP solutions was held on 6 and 7 November 2020 at St Philomena College Puttur for non-teaching staff of the college. Mr Abhishek Suvarna Assistant Professor Department of Business Administration was the resource person. Mr Abhishek Suvarna had given detailed information about  student admission process, fee collection certificate generation etc. Mr Sudeep Clitus Vas SDA of the college had given detailed information about the feedback ,SMS module, examination module, data export and payroll. The non teaching staff members  participated in this training program and querries were asked at the end of the session and  the resource person  answered to solve their queries.
