St Philomena College was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

Training Program on MULINX- Mangalore University Examination Software

The program was held on 11th  and 12th December 2020  at St Philomena College Puttur for Non Teaching faculty members of the College. Mr Sudeep Clitus Vas. SDA of the College office and Mr Abhishek Suvarna Assistant Professor Dept. of Business Administration were the Resource Persons. MULINX is examination software developed by the Mangalore University for the smooth functioning of examination process. The Resource Person extended a detailed information with regard to the operation of the software. The software includes models like staff list, admission, promotion, exam appearance list and IA marks upload, staff duty allotment, ATS generation and many more aspects.
