Department of Computer Science in association with the Dept of English organized a webinar on “How to Get Ready for Placement”. Mr. Srinath Sethruraman, Certified Corporate Trainer, Founder, and CEO, Give Institute, Bengaluru was the Resource person. In his session, he said “English knowledge and Communication skills increase your chance of getting a good job. To learn English, you must have a great desire. Your background, medium of instruction during your primary schooling, and all do not come into the picture if you have a desire to learn English. If one is a positive thinker with a lot of confidence, he can easily sail through placement drives and get his dream job. English is the extensively used language used for communication with employees and clients in MNCs. Being able to communicate more effectively will enable you to develop closer relationships with everyone around you and effectively communicate your ideas.
