About Us

St Philomena College(Autonomous) was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

A webinar on the topic ‘Health care- Cancer’

PG Department of Social work had  guided the MSW students to organize the webinar on the topic ‘Health care-Cancer’ on October 2 2021.Here MS SARAMMA, Student of II MSW, Medical and Psychiatric Specialization was the Resource person had spoken on the topic of Cancer for this webinar. Mr Albin had taken the responsibility of Master of Ceremony, Ms Ansha and Ms Chaithanya had proposed welcome and vote of thanks respectively. Totally 25 Students had enrolled to this Programme and benefitted from this programme.

Class Mentor and Faculty of the Department Mrs Prathibha K had guided the students to conduct this programme through online mode. On behalf of Department Co-ordinator  Mrs Srimani had supported and guided for the smooth running of this programme.
