About Us

St Philomena College(Autonomous) was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

FDP on Excel for Data Analysis

Department of Computer Science of St Philomena College Puttur organized a Four- day  Faculty Development program on Excel for Data Analysis in collaboration with IQAC at P G Seminar Hall from 01/08/2022 to 04/08/2022. The program was inaugurated by the Principal Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro. The program was organized with a view to equip the faculty with necessary skills required for the Data Analysis and Survey .It also will help the teachers in the research analysis too.

The Technical sessions were conducted by the faculty of Dept of Computer Science. Mrs Sowmya conducted sessions on ESSENTIAL EXCEL DATA ANALYSIS FUNCTIONS, Mrs Varija M  conducted training sessions on METHODS FOR DATA ANALYSIS IN EXCEL , Mr Vinayachandra on DATA ANALYSIS WITH MICROSOFT EXCEL , Mrs Rajeshwari M  on SIMPLE LINEAR REGRESSION MODEL IN EXCEL and Mrs Geethapoornima on DATASET.
