About Us

St Philomena College was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

Inauguration of NSS Activity 2022-2023

NSS Activity Inauguration on 24/11/2022 was Inaugurated by the Rev Dr Antony Prakash Montheiro principal  of the College presided over the program and National service scheme is the foundation of comprehensive personality building. And NSS is working under motto ‘Not me But you’ which is a complement to personality building.  He also said that students should engage in social activities and be sent on national building. NSS Officer Mr Vasudeva and Mrs  pushpa and other department lecturers were present in this programme. In this activity more than 200 NSS volunteers active part.
