St Philomena College(Autonomous) was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

Programme on Exam preparations for SSLC students.

Post Graduate Department of Social Work, St Philomena College, Puttur in collaboration with Government high school Shanthinagar, Puttur organised programme on Exam preparations for SSLC students at Government high school Shanthinagar on 18-03-2022.

Mrs. Prathibha K, Assistant Professor of MSW Department, StPhilomena College,Putturwas resource person of the programme. Mr. Aananda Amin, SDMC President preside over the programme. Mr. Vishnu Prasad, Head Master of Shanthinagar High school and Mr. K Ramachandra Poojari, President of Gram Panchayat Kodimbadi were chief guests of the programme.

Ms Priya. B welcomed the gathering, MsKrishnaprasad Proposed vote of thanks, MsDwithi B was the master of ceremony.

29 students benefited from this programme.
