About Us

St Philomena College was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

Swachatha Abhiyana held at SPC

National Service Scheme of St Philomena College Puttur in association with  IQAC  organized Swachatha Abhiyana in and around bus stand at entrance of the college on  November 12th 2022.

The volunteers collected plastic and other waste from the bus stand at entrance of the college.   More than 100 volunteers participated in the programme . Unit leaders Pranam Kamath, Zainuddin. kaveriyamma, Priya Dsoza led the programme  planned by programme officers Mr. Vasudeva N and Smt. Pushpa N guided the volunteers.
