Valedictory Programme on Completion of OPTUM Company Campus Recruitment Training Programme.

Puttur December 21: Under the auspices of St Philomena College Career Guidance and Recruitment Cell, Internal Quality Assurance Cell, a U S based multinational Optum Health Care Company organized a five week long compulsory training Programme at St Philomena College premises for the post of Medical Coders who already had been selected through written exam and interview. Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, principal of the College presided over the valedictory function and said “an honest effort will always lead to desired success. It is the need of the hour to develop necessary skills required to suit the job options besides having a good score in the academics. If the candidate is equipped with required skills job opportunities will knock the doors without any difficulty” . Optum Company People Manager Melita Lobo participated as chief guest and said” There always is a latent talent in every individual, The programs of this nature always help in sharpening the bent of mind of any individual. Along with the natural pressures of work one should compulsorily involve in skill building to become a winner in this competitive world “Participants, Ms Aliphia and Ms Joyline shared their thoughts.

The candidates who successfully complete the training Programme will face the CPC Authorization exam and the successful candidates will have a final round of interview in the Optum Company Bangalore wherein appointment letters will be issued to the selected candidates
