About Us

St Philomena College(Autonomous) was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

Workshop on Health and Hygiene

Women empowerment cell in association with IQAC organised an Inauguration of Workshop on ““Health and hygiene “on 25-01-2022 in P G Seminar Hall.

Rev Dr Antony Prakash Monterio, Principal of the college presided over the programme. Mrs Prathibha K Assistant Professor, PGSW, SPC Puttur. Mrs. Nancy Lavina Pinto, Assistant Professor, BSW, SPC, Puttur, Mrs Deepika Sanil, Assistant Professor, BSW, SPC, Putturwere resource persons of the Workshop.

Mr. Manoj & team performed the prayer, Mrs Srimani, Assist. Prof. Convener of the WEC welcomed the gathering. Ms. Ansha II MSW proposed vote of thanks & Ms. Varsha compeered the programme. Faculty members of the department were present during the occasion.
