St Philomena College(Autonomous) was founded by Msgr Antony Patrao who felt that a College in this part of the state would save the people of the inconvenience of moving to distant places for higher education. He set out to realize his dream and the mission was accomplished in the year 1958.

Workshop on “Research Methodology”

A workshop on “Research Methodology” was carried by Dr Vijayalaxmi N S, Assistant Professor, HoD, Dept of Economics,Neharu Memorial College, Sullia,on July 6th, 2022, for the target audience of M.S.W Students.

Dr Vijayalaxmi N S, started off the session with the introduction of research and   the students were enlightened on application of research methodology, and preparation of research project reports. They were also guided about data collection, tabulation, analysis, interpretation of data and writing research projects. The workshop helped the students to complete their MSW project work in the satisfactory manner. The workshop concluded with a Question &Answer session ensuring that studentsgained the basics of research methodology

P.G. Department of Social Work organised this workshop and co-ordinator of the Department Mrs Srimani was present on the occasion. Mr.Sheethal Kumar, Lecturer of the Department  Introduced the resource person, Ms. Jilsha Christopher invoke the blessings of god, Ms.Sithrawelcomed the gathering,Ms. Poojashreeproposed vote of thanks and MsHarshitha Compeered the progrmme.
